Alexander Van der Bellen

Alexander Van der Bellen is the current President of Austria. He was born on April 14, 1944, in Vienna, Austria. Van der Bellen studied law and economics at the University of Vienna and later earned a doctorate in law. He was a member of the Austrian Parliament from 1983 to 1999 and served as the Mayor of Vienna from 1997 to 2001. In 2010, he became the President of Austria, a position he still holds today. Van der Bellen is known for his left-wing politics and his advocacy for social justice and human rights.
