Alexej Navalny

Alexej Navalny is a Russian opposition leader and politician. He was a prominent critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin and was arrested several times for his activism. Navalny was also a key figure in the 2011-2012 Russian protests against Putin's return to the presidency. He was forced to flee Russia in 2013 due to persecution by the Russian authorities. Navalny has been a vocal critic of corruption and human rights abuses in Russia. He has also been a vocal supporter of democratic reforms in Russia.
