Alfonso Armada

Spanish army general and politician who played a key role in the 1981 coup d'etat against King Juan Carlos I. Born in 1932 in Madrid, Spain. He was a prominent figure in the Spanish military and was known for his conservative views. He was a key figure in the coup and was later sentenced to prison for his role in the events.
