Alfred P. Sloan was an American businessman and engineer who served as the president and CEO of General Motors from 1923 to 1937. He played a key role in transforming General Motors into one of the largest and most successful companies in the world. Sloan was a pioneer in the field of marketing and was known for his innovative approach to product development and branding. He was also a skilled engineer and inventor, and held several patents in his name. Sloan was born in 1875 and died in 1966.
