Alfredo Astiz

Alfredo Astiz is a former Argentine Navy officer who was convicted of torturing and killing several people during the National Reorganization Process. He was arrested in 1998 and extradited to Spain, where he was tried and convicted of multiple crimes. Astiz has been sentenced to life in prison for his role in the disappearance and murder of several people. He has also been accused of being involved in the disappearance of several other people.
