Ali al-Sistani

Ali al-Sistani is a Shia cleric and Grand Ayatollah. He was born in 1950 CE in Najaf, Iraq. He studied Islamic law and theology at the University of Najaf and became a prominent figure in the Shia community. He has written extensively on Shia theology and jurisprudence and has been a vocal advocate for Shia rights. He has also been involved in various charitable and educational initiatives. He is considered one of the most important Shia clerics of our time.
