Ali bin Husayn al-Akbar, also known as Ali Zayn al-Abidin, was the sixth Imam of the Twelver Shia Muslims. He was born in 659 CE and died in 681 CE. He is considered one of the most important figures in Shia Islam and is revered as a martyr and a symbol of resistance against oppression. He is also known for his role in the Battle of Karbala, where he was killed by the Umayyad forces. Ali bin Husayn al-Akbar is considered a role model for Shia Muslims and is celebrated annually on the occasion of his martyrdom.
