Amal Fakhoury

Amal Fakhoury is a Lebanese-Iranian writer and journalist. She is known for her work on Iranian politics and culture. Fakhoury has written for several publications, including The New York Times and The Guardian. She has also been a vocal critic of the Iranian government's human rights record. Fakhoury has received several awards for her writing, including the International Women's Media Foundation's Courage in Journalism Award. She is a frequent commentator on Iranian politics and has appeared on several news programs. Fakhoury is also a professor at the University of California, Berkeley.
