Amber Guyger

Amber Guyger is an American former police officer. She was convicted of murder in connection with the shooting death of Botham Jean in 2018. Guyger had been a police officer in the Dallas Police Department before her termination. She had also worked as a security guard and had a history of run-ins with the law. Guyger's case drew widespread attention due to the racial and social justice implications of her actions.
