Amit Kshatriya

Amit Kshatriya is the Associate Administrator of NASA. He is responsible for leading the agency's efforts to explore the solar system and beyond. Prior to his current role, Kshatriya served as the Associate Administrator for the Office of Commercial Crew and Cargo. He has also held positions at NASA's Johnson Space Center and the Marshall Space Flight Center. Kshatriya holds a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and has received several awards for his work on commercial crew and cargo development. Kshatriya is a native of India and has a strong background in materials science and engineering. He is currently based in Washington, D.C.
