Human rights advocate and expert on African conflicts
Amnesty International's Africa Director has spent over 20 years working on human rights issues in Africa, with a focus on conflict zones and humanitarian crises. She has worked extensively in Ethiopia, Eritrea, and other countries in the region, and has written extensively on topics such as human rights abuses, refugee crises, and peacebuilding. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Oxford and has taught at several universities in Africa. She is also a frequent commentator on human rights issues and has appeared on several major news programs. In her free time, she enjoys reading and practicing yoga. She is based in London, UK.
