Amnon Barak

Amnon Barak is an Israeli politician and former commander of the Mossad. He served as a member of the Knesset and held various government positions before entering politics. Before his military career, Barak studied law and economics at Tel Aviv University. He later received a Ph.D. in public administration from Harvard University. As an author, Barak wrote several books on national security and diplomacy, including 'The Seventh Day' which recounts his time as head of the Mossad. In 2021, he was elected to the Knesset as the chairman of the Yamina party.
