Andrea Pietras

Andrea Pietras is a historian and author specializing in American history, particularly the 19th century. She has written for numerous publications, including The New York Times and Smithsonian Magazine. Pietras has also taught at several universities, including Columbia University and the University of Michigan. She is currently a professor of history at the University of Michigan.
