Andrei Chikatilo

Andrei Chikatilo was a Soviet serial killer who committed a series of heinous murders in the Soviet Union during the 1970s and 1980s. Born on October 16, 1936, in the village of Kalmukh, Chikatilo was a school teacher and a father of two. However, he led a dark double life, preying on innocent children, women, and teenagers. Chikatilo's crimes were characterized by their brutality and randomness, and he was eventually caught in 1990. He was executed by firing squad in 1994.
