Andries Pretorius

Andries Pretorius was a Boer commander and military leader who played a key role in the Second Boer War. He was born in 1836 in what is now South Africa and rose through the ranks of the Boer army to become a prominent leader. Pretorius was known for his bravery and tactical genius, and he is remembered as one of the most important figures of the Boer War. He died in 1910 at the age of 74.
