Andy Mothibi

Andy Mothibi is a South African lawyer and politician. He is the current National Director of Public Prosecutions. Mothibi was born in 1969 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He studied law at the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an attorney in 1994. He worked as a prosecutor in the National Prosecuting Authority before being appointed as the National Director of Public Prosecutions in 2019. Mothibi is known for his efforts to combat organized crime and gender-based violence in South Africa.
