Ángela Salazar

Ángela Salazar was a Colombian activist and human rights advocate who fought for the rights of Afro-Colombian communities. She was a key figure in the movement for truth and justice in Colombia, and was recognized for her work with several awards. Salazar was also a feminist and a strong advocate for women's rights. She was a member of the Comisión para el Esclarecimiento de la Verdad, la Convivencia y la No Repetición, which was established to investigate human rights abuses during the conflict in Colombia. Salazar's work continues to be recognized and celebrated today.
