About Anita
Anita Lasker-Wallfisch was a German-British cellist and Holocaust survivor. She was born in 1910 and died in 2006. She survived the Auschwitz concentration camp as a member of the camp's girls' orchestra. She went on to have a successful career as a cellist and music educator.
