Anne Bronte was a British author and poet best known for her novel Agnes Grey. She was born in 1820 in Yorkshire, England, and grew up in a family of modest means. Bronte was educated at home and developed a love for literature and writing at an early age. She published her only novel, Agnes Grey, in 1847, and it has since become a classic of English literature. Bronte died in 1849 at the age of 29, but her works continue to be widely read and studied today.
