Anthony Bateman

Anthony Bateman is a British clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst. He is a professor of psychotherapy at the University of Oxford and a consultant clinical psychologist at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Bateman is known for his work on borderline personality disorder and has developed several therapeutic approaches, including mentalization-based therapy. He has written extensively on these topics and has received numerous awards for his contributions to psychology. Bateman is also a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a member of the British Psychological Society.
