Russian playwright and short story writer
Anton Chekhov was a Russian playwright and short story writer who is best known for his works such as "The Cherry Orchard" and "Uncle Vanya". He is considered one of the greatest writers in Russian literature and has had a significant influence on the development of Russian literature. Chekhov was born in Russia and studied medicine at the University of Moscow. He later became a writer, producing works that were both humorous and poignant. Chekhov died at the age of 44 due to complications from tuberculosis.
