Anya Gallaccio

Anya Gallaccio is a Scottish artist known for her innovative use of organic materials in her sculptures. She was born in 1963 in Scotland and studied at the Glasgow School of Art. Gallaccio's work has been exhibited globally and she has received numerous awards for her contributions to the art world. She is known for her ability to push the boundaries of traditional sculpture and her exploration of themes such as transformation and impermanence. Gallaccio is also a professor at the University of Edinburgh and has taught at several other institutions. She is married to the artist Tim Noble and they have two children.
