Ara Koh

Ara Koh is a ceramic artist and educator based in the United States. She is known for her layered clay paintings and material-intensive installations, which explore the relationship between materiality and meaning. Koh has exhibited her work in galleries and museums and has taught at various institutions. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and has written articles for various publications. Koh is a member of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and has served on the board of the American Craft Council.
