Arthur Hunt

Arthur Hunt was a British archaeologist and excavator who worked with Bernard Grenfell to discover the Oxyrhynchus Papyri. Born in 1870, he shared Grenfell's passion for uncovering ancient texts and together they made significant contributions to our understanding of the Greek New Testament. The discovery of the papyri marked a major breakthrough in biblical scholarship and cemented Hunt's reputation as a leading expert in his field.
