Arthur King was a 5th-century king of Wales who is believed to have been the son of King Cadwaladr. He is known for his patronage of the arts and his support for the development of Christianity in Wales. Arthur is also famous for his legendary exploits, including his battle against the Saxons and his eventual death at the hands of his half-brother, Maelgwn. He is often depicted in art and literature as a heroic figure.
