Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr.

Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. was an American historian, author, and professor. He was a professor of history at Harvard University and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Schlesinger was a prominent historian of American politics and culture, and wrote several books on the subject, including 'The Politics: A New Introduction'. He was a frequent commentator on American politics and culture for The New York Times and other media outlets. Schlesinger was a Pulitzer Prize winner and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He passed away in 2007.
