Ashley Byers

Ashley Byers is an American professional ballet dancer and entrepreneur. She was born in 1992 in the United States. Byers began her ballet training at the age of 5 and went on to attend the School of American Ballet. She made her professional debut with the New York City Ballet in 2012. Byers has also performed with the American Ballet Theatre and the San Francisco Ballet. In 2016, she met her future husband, Doug Benefield, at a party for a presidential contender. The couple got married just 13 days later and went on to start a ballet company, the American National Ballet. Byers is known for her unique approach to ballet, which emphasizes diversity and inclusivity. She has been featured in various media outlets, including The New York Times and Dance Magazine.
