Asil Nadir

Asil Nadir is a Turkish-born businessman who rose to prominence in the 1980s as the chairman of Polly Peck International, a textile firm that became a FTSE 100 giant. However, his success was marred by allegations of financial impropriety and he was eventually convicted of fraud in 1993. Nadir has since written a book about his experiences and has become a prominent figure in British business circles.
