Astrid Seeberger

Astrid Seeberger is a Swedish author and former doctor. She was born and raised in southern Germany and moved to Sweden at the age of 17 to become a writer. She became a doctor first, which was not a bad choice: listening to patients' life stories can be very educational. She later became a researcher and professor at Karolinska Institutet, and led a forum on art and science at four hospitals in Stockholm for twenty years. Today, she is a full-time author.
