Ava Gardner was an American actress who was one of the most popular and highest-paid stars of Hollywood's Golden Age. Born in 1922, Gardner began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. She is best known for her roles in films such as 'The Killers', 'Mogambo', and 'The Night of the Iguana'. Gardner was married three times, including to Frank Sinatra and Mickey Rooney. She died in 1990 at the age of 68.
