Bahar Ostadan

Bahar Ostadan is a reporter for WNYC, covering local news and politics. She has been with the station since 2018 and has reported on various topics including city hall, education, and social justice. Ostadan is a graduate of Columbia University and has a master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She is also a recipient of the National Association of Black Journalists' Emerging Journalist Award. In her free time, Ostadan enjoys hiking and trying out new restaurants. She is based in New York City.
