About Baqir
Baqir al-Sadr was an Iraqi Shia cleric and politician. He was a prominent figure in the Iraqi Shia community and played a key role in the 1979 Iranian Revolution. He was also a member of the Iraqi Parliament and served as the chairman of the Iraqi Islamic Party.
