Bastian Giegerich

Bastian Giegerich is a German political scientist and expert on European security. He has written extensively on the topic of European defence and has served as a senior fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Giegerich has also worked as a researcher at the German Marshall Fund and has been a visiting scholar at the Brookings Institution. He has a PhD in political science from the University of Oxford and has taught at several universities, including the London School of Economics. Giegerich is known for his expertise on European security, defence, and foreign policy.
