Bayezid I

Bayezid I was the 11th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, ruling from 1389 to 1402. He was the son of Orhan I and succeeded him after a brief regency. Bayezid I's reign was marked by conflicts with the Byzantine Empire and the Mamluk Sultanate. He died in 1402.
