About Beastie
The Beastie Boys were an American hip-hop group formed in 1978. The group consisted of Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz), MCA (Adam Yauch), and Mike D (Mike Diamond). They are known for their unique blend of hip-hop, rock, and punk music, as well as their energetic live performances. The Beastie Boys released several successful albums, including Licensed to Ill and Paul's Boutique. They were also known for their music videos, including the iconic 'Sabotage'. The group went on hiatus in the 2000s, but reunited in 2011 for a final tour before MCA's passing in 2012.
