Beatrice Sparks

Beatrice Sparks is an American author and writer. She was born in 1942 in New York City and studied at Barnard College. Sparks is known for her bestselling book Jay's Journal, which was published in 1999 and became a huge success. She has also written several other books and has worked as a journalist and editor.
