Ben Shahn

Ben Shahn was an American artist and muralist. He was born in Lithuania in 1898 and immigrated to the United States in 1910. Shahn was a prominent figure in the American art scene, known for his murals and paintings that depicted everyday life and social issues. He was a member of the American Artists Congress and the Artists Union. Shahn's work was exhibited in various museums and galleries, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
