Bernice Worden

Bernice Worden was a 25-year-old hardware store owner who was murdered by Ed Gein in 1957. Her body was found in Gein's house, which became notorious for its gruesome contents. Worden's murder was a major factor in Gein's arrest and conviction. She is often referred to as the first victim of Ed Gein's crimes.
