Bill Henry Lewis

Bill Lewis is a musician, musicologist, and cultural critic known for his work as a professor at Washington University in St. Louis and the founder of the music blog StlMusicScene.com. He has written for various publications, including The New York Times and Pitchfork. Lewis is also an accomplished saxophonist and has performed with prominent jazz musicians. In 2017, he was appointed as the Chair of Music Department at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He has a keen interest in exploring the cultural significance of music and its role in shaping urban identity.
