Bishop Odo was a 10th-century bishop and half-brother of King William of England. He was known for his cruel and oppressive behavior, particularly during his time as bishop of Durham. Despite his reputation, Odo was also a skilled politician and played an important role in the history of Northumbria. He died in 978 AD.
