Historical figure and Catholic saint
Bl. Charles the Good was a 12th-century French nobleman and Catholic saint. He was born in 1130 and died in 1198. Charles was known for his piety and charitable works, and was canonized as a saint in 1934. He is the patron saint of the city of Quebec, Canada.
