Black Bart was an American outlaw and poet who robbed Wells Fargo stagecoaches in the late 19th century. He was known for his brazen heists and his poetic messages left at the scene of each crime. Black Bart was never caught and remains one of the most infamous outlaws in American history. He was also a skilled writer and poet, and his works have been widely studied and admired. Black Bart's real name was Charles Earl Boles, and he was born in 1860 in California. He died in 1939, but his legend lives on as a symbol of rebellion and nonconformity.
