Boston Corbett was an American soldier who served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He is best known for killing John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of President Abraham Lincoln. Corbett was born in 1832 in Ohio and died in 1910. He is remembered as a hero of the Union cause.
