Brian Boitano

Brian Boitano is a retired American figure skater and Olympic gold medalist. Born on May 12, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest figure skaters of all time. Boitano won the gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics and is a two-time World Champion. He has also been involved in various figure skating coaching and mentoring roles. Boitano has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has been open about his own experiences as a gay man in sports.
