Bridget Carolan was an Irish revolutionary and activist who fought for Irish independence and social justice. Born in 1888 in County Cork, Ireland, Carolan was a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood and the Irish Volunteers. She was involved in various protests and demonstrations, including the 1916 Easter Rising. Carolan also worked with the Irish Women's Franchise League, advocating for women's rights and equality. Her contributions to the Irish independence movement have been recognized by historians and scholars. Carolan passed away in 1965.
