Born on February 12, 1950, in Los Angeles, California, Gary was a key member of the band during their heyday in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The Knack was known for their hit single 'My Sharona', which Gary co-wrote and played on. Gary passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 69.
