British gangster and mastermind of the Great Train Robbery
Bruce Reynolds is a British gangster and the mastermind behind the Great Train Robbery of 1963. Born on October 21, 1935, in London, England, Reynolds grew up in a poor family and turned to crime at a young age. He became involved with the gang that would eventually carry out the Great Train Robbery, and his leadership and planning skills were instrumental in the heist's success. Reynolds was arrested and sentenced to 25 years in prison, but he was released in 1978 after serving 15 years. After his release, he wrote a book about the Great Train Robbery and became a media personality. Reynolds passed away on January 11, 2013, at the age of 77.
