Buck Windham

Buck Windham is a veteran of the Gulf War and author of Hogs in the Sand: A Gulf War A-10 Pilot's Combat Journal. He flew A-10 Thunderbolt IIs with the 352nd Fighter Wing and served in the US Air Force from 1988 to 1992. After leaving the military, Windham worked as a journalist and writer, covering military and aviation topics. He is a frequent speaker at military and aviation events, and has written articles for various publications. Windham is also a veteran of the Iraq War and has been involved in various charitable organizations. He currently lives in the United States.
