C.W. Ceram was a British author and archaeologist best known for his book 'Gods, Tombs, and Royalty'. He was born in 1901 in London, England, and studied archaeology at the University of London. Ceram worked as a journalist and writer for many years, covering topics such as archaeology, history, and science. He was a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a member of the Society of Antiquaries. Ceram passed away in 1973.
