Carrero Blanco
Former Spanish politician and Prime Minister
Adolfo Suárez González, known as Carrero Blanco, was a Spanish politician who served as Prime Minister of Spain from 1975 until his death in 1977. He was a member of the Falange and played a key role in the Spanish transition to democracy. He was also a skilled horseman and an accomplished musician. Tragically, his life was cut short in an assassination attempt on February 20, 1978.
